1960’s Practice is founded by Dr. Evelyn Coonrad
1960’s Dr. Walter E. Davis joins the practice
1980’s Dr. Evelyn Coonrad retires
1980’s Dr. Edwin B. Cox joins the practice
1996 Practice merged with Raleigh Hematology Oncology Associates and American Oncology Resources and re-established itself as Regional Hematology Oncology
1998 Dr. James Hathorn leaves Duke University Medical Center to join practice
2004 Dr. Walter E. Davis retires
2004 Drs. Robin Hardie-Hood and Jane Ybanez join the practice
2005 Dr. Edwin B. Cox retires
2006 Practice changed name to Regional Cancer Care to better communicate our focus on cancer
