Carl started his career in the U.S. Navy in 1980, after his four year enlistment he was honorably discharged and began his career at John Hancock Financial Services. From 1984 through 1987 he became one of the top fifty of 7,000 representatives in the country.
With this confidence he left John Hancock and started his own Financial and Insurance agency. Just three years after he opened his doors he became the Regional Director for GPM Life and helped it become the top region in the country in 1990. In 1994 he was the Regional Director and Consultant to American Amicable Group. That year he lead his region once again to the Region of the year.
He has been the US Worldwide Securities “Man of the Year” being a consistent top producer. While being a top producer, in 1996 he completed his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) through The American College in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania. This gives him the recognition as having become an expert in many areas of Insurance and Financial services. A short year later he also became a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). This designation allows informed advice on Income Tax Planning, Retirement Planning, and Estate Planning.
If 1997 was not busy enough, Mr. Reidemeister added Jackson Hewitt Tax Service to his Groton office. In 1998 he added a second Tax and Planning office under the same name in Norwich.
Mr. Reidemeister is a Registered Financial Consultant, an Investment Advisor, a Registered Securities Principal, a Chartered Life Underwriter, and a Chartered Financial Consultant. He is licensed in various states in Property and Casualty, Life, Health, as well as Securities Series 6, 63, 26, 65. Mr. Reidemeister has also been happily married for nearly twenty years. His wife has been very supportive through the years, and also blessed him with two children now aged sixteen and nineteen. His daughter is now in college while his son is learning the rules of the road. In what spare time is left he enjoys the outdoors and activities such as off-roading and camping.
