Job Description

Responsible/accountable for management of the patient and provision of care utilizing the nursing process, environment, instrumentation, and other health care team members.  Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within. Provides quality patient care in accordance with MVRMC policies and procedures and established patient care standards and practice.

Job Requirements

Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
  • Current Licensure in professional nursing from State Board of Nursing.
Experience:
  • Required:  Twelve (12) months of recent Intensive Care or cardiac related experience.
  • Preferred:  Minimum of one (1) year experience in a Cath lab. 
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skill to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
Licenses/Certificates:
  • Current professional nursing license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Current ACLS  (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)-if not currently certified at the time of hire, must complete first course offered.
